Secures WordPress sites by changing the default wp-login.php URL to a custom slug and blocking unauthorized access.

Features

  • Custom Login Slug: Change wp-login.php to any secure URL.
  • Access Restriction: Redirect unauthorized direct access attempts to 404.

Installation

Via Composer (VCS Repository)

Add the repository to your composer.json and require the package:

composer config repositories.tikhomirov-wp-hide-login-plugin git https://github.com/tikhomirov/wp-hide-login-plugin.git
composer require tikhomirov/wp-hide-login-plugin

Manual Installation

  1. Download the latest ZIP release.
  2. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  3. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
